Overview

The Department of Latina/Latino Studies hosts the last of its Latinx Speaker Series events on Tuesday, April 14, 12:30 - 2:00 p.m., in Library 121. Analicia Hawkins will present their talk, “Pa’Fuera!: Equity in Birdwatching and the Outdoors.” All are welcome to attend. 

Hawkins will discuss their experience in creating spaces for queer and trans people of color in the birding realm. Attendees will participate in a bird bingo activity.
